Life brings complexity, pressure, and moments that test even the strongest relationships. As a Black married male therapist and father of three, I understand firsthand how partnerships evolve under the weight of real-life responsibilities — parenting, careers, expectations, and the quiet emotional labor that often goes unseen. I bring both lived experience and clinical expertise to help couples make meaning of those moments and reconnect in ways that feel authentic and lasting.

My work is grounded in a narrative lens, helping partners make sense of the stories that shaped them, the wounds they carry, and the patterns that keep them stuck. Together, we slow things down and explore the “why” beneath reactions, creating space where vulnerability feels safe and emotional intimacy can return. Couples come to me to rebuild closeness, heal past ruptures, navigate communication challenges, and break cycles that began long before the relationship — and we do that work with intention and compassion.

I also have years of experience supporting individuals and families navigating trauma, depression, relationship stress, and identity development. My work with African American adolescents and their families has reinforced my belief that relationships — romantic or familial — are at the core of our emotional lives. Supporting young men in finding their voice and strengthening family bonds has shaped my approach to therapy in meaningful ways.

My commitment is simple: to help you understand your story more clearly, reclaim the parts of you that have been minimized or unheard, and build relationships that feel secure, connected, and aligned with your values. If you’re ready to do that work, let’s work.
