What is the Difference Between Therapy and Counseling?

These terms are often used interchangeably. However, there are some differences. Therapy tends to be longer in duration compared to counseling. Therapy is focused on a healing journey often taking into consideration thoughts, feelings and emotions. While counseling is similar, it is typically focused on a specific issue for a specified amount of time.

How Much Are Your Services?

Therapy and counseling services are typically covered by insurance, with the individual only paying a copay. However, some people choose to pay out of pocket. Out of pocket rates are $200 per session for therapy and counseling. For group therapy, the out of pocket rate is $30 per session. We offer sliding scale rates on a case by case basis. For training and public speaking prices, please email or call us for more information.

At Hollie Therapy and Counseling we believe that clients should know how much their medical care will be.
